The weekend is upon us, and hopefully it’s a 4-Day for youš!! Many of you are traveling this weekend. If not, as always, there’s so much to see and do in the local area. The weather looks like it will be great to get outside and explore, but we’ve still added a few more indoor activities for those that freeze easyš.
Since many events and attractions below are carried over from previous weeks, the š„ means it’s a new addition to Weekend Edition.
You won’t see us around K-Town this weekend, we’ll be staying at Edelweiss in Garmischā·. But if you are there too, say “hiš” if you see us!!

Right here, head over to golf in the neon lights! Whether looking for a place to spend date night or entertain the kids for a few hours, World of Gleamgolf is bound to deliver a great time. They are even open until midnight on Fridays and Saturdays!
*FUN PARK Kaiserslauternš„
Recently opened and in Einsiedlerhof, one of our little Day Trippers went there last weekend and lost her mind. She said two hours wasn’t close to enough to enjoy everything. So grab some ZimtblĆ¼te š and slide right over to FUN PARK!!
*Dynamikum Science Museum Pirmasensš„
Only a half hour away, explore natural science and technology at the Dynamikum Science Museum. If you read the reviews, it’s hard to tell whether the adults or children enjoyed themselves more. See it for yourself!!
*Bastogne Museum (closes Jan 19th for annual closure)
If you haven’t made it to Bastogne for the 75th anniversary, this weekend is your last chance to tour the museum before it closes for the season. It’s an amazing and interactive tour, great for all ages.

Just bscause you’ve put the Christmas decorations away doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy lights. Head over to Mannheim’s Luisenpark to watch it sparkle from now and through next month!!
